The bar and restaurant at Valley House, a 19th-century building on the north side of the island best known for the violent 1894 attack on landlady Agnes McDonnell by her former land agent James Lynchehaun. Today it operates as a hostel, bar and restaurant, trading on its history without losing the working pub atmosphere.
