The town's full-service hotel, a Grade II listed Georgian building on Church Street with walled gardens, at the Brecon Road end of town and a few minutes' walk from the castle. It has 19 en-suite bedrooms, most with a bath as well as a shower, and some of them are in the Coach House, which is where the dog-friendly rooms are. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out at 11am. It also runs a restaurant and two bars open to non-residents every day. Booking is through the hotel's own online system.
