About

Esker Arts is the town's arts centre on High Street, with a theatre, studios and two galleries that are free to walk into. The programme mixes touring theatre, music and dance with the town's own: dance schools, choirs, the musical society and the panto all use it. In October it runs Eagla Fest, a horror film season. The galleries open Tuesday to Friday from ten to five and Saturday from ten to three, and are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Tickets for performances are booked through the centre's own site.
