The bar and restaurant of the Tullamore Court Hotel on O'Moore Street, five minutes' walk from the railway station. The carvery changes daily, with a vegetarian option, soups and sandwiches, and there is a separate lighter lunch menu. In the evening the room shifts to à la carte, and on Saturday nights there is live music from half nine. It is roomy and easy with children. The hotel's own page lists the carvery hours two slightly different ways, so check the day you want when you book; the bar's opening times are consistent.
