Nicholas Mosse Pottery & Mill
← All things to do
About
About 8km south of the city in Bennettsbridge, Nicholas Mosse makes its hand-decorated spongeware pottery on site in a restored stone flour mill on the Nore. There are two floors of pottery to browse, a seconds room that locals make a beeline for, and the Mill Café for lunch or a scone. Pre-booked pottery tours run early in the week and take you through how the pieces are thrown and decorated. It is a good rainy-day run out from the city, and family-friendly.
