The Riverside is the restaurant at the Kilkenny River Court Hotel, set right on the Nore by the bridge with the castle framed across the water. The contemporary Irish menu is dependable and the view from the terrace on a fine evening is hard to beat in town. Worth a table even if you are not staying at the hotel.
