The surf school and surf shop on Main Street, with a coffee pop-up in high season. You check in at the shop, get a wetsuit and board, and follow the instructors to whichever beach has the gentlest waves that day: Narosa names Marble Hill, five minutes away, and the back strand at Falcarragh, ten minutes away. Lessons run all year for all ages, with ISA-approved instructors. Narosa's own price list gives group surf lessons at €40 for children aged 6 to 16 and €50 for adults, and group stand-up paddleboard lessons at €50 for adults and teens over 13, taught at the Killahoey estuary or Port na Bláiche harbour, with guided paddleboard tours of the coves priced separately.
