About
A links course on the edge of the village between Main Street and Killahoey strand, with the bay on one side and Muckish behind. The club says the course was laid out in 1906 by Harry Vardon and that Paul McGinley, Europe's 2014 Ryder Cup captain, learned to play on it. As a true links it plays all year. The club's 2026 green fees are €100 for visitors who are not Golf Ireland members, €50 for Golf Ireland members and €40 for Donegal-based Golf Ireland members, with junior rates of €25 on weekdays and €30 at weekends; buggies, electric trolleys and clubs are for hire. Paths to Killahoey cross the links, so watch for golfers.
