The local beach of choice, a shallow, sandy strand on Ringabella Bay west of the harbour mouth, around fifteen minutes from Carrigaline. Cork County Council lifeguards cover it in the summer bathing season, and there is plenty of safe paddling for small children. There is a front beach at the village entrance and a quieter back beach on the promontory.
