About
Wavesweeper is the Mullet's watersports outfit, run by the same family as the Western Strands. They take families, groups and complete beginners out for surfing, kayaking, coasteering, snorkelling and stand-up paddleboarding around the peninsula, with qualified guides, rentals and changing facilities on site. There are surf programmes for children, the Little Dippers for ages 7 to 10 and the Seals for older kids, as well as lessons for adults. The sheltered water of Blacksod and the surf beaches of the Atlantic side give them options whatever the wind is doing.
