Brú Chlann Lir is a modern approved B&B and self-catering on the Mullet Peninsula, around 13km from Belmullet town, with the sheltered water of Blacksod Bay to the east and the open Atlantic to the west. The name nods to the Children of Lir, who in legend spent their last three hundred years on nearby Inishglora. It is a peaceful base out on the peninsula for those who want to be among the machair and the sea rather than in the town.
